The devastating Knysna fires of June 2017 resulted in the largest number of buildings ever destroyed by fire in South Africa – and the tragic loss of seven lives, including four people engaged in firefighting efforts. Knysna was severely affected by the fire and South Africa responded with donations and unwavering support.

Now KZN is reeling from the devastation of the recent severe floods which saw the loss of homes, businesses, infrastructure and lives. Many people are still without basic utilities such as water and electricity. The area has suffered extensive damage to infrastructure with the resultant urgent repairs and reconstruction placing a further strain on rebuilding day-to-day lives.

It is time for our community to show the same support that the nation showed us in 2017.

Today Garden Route Insurance Brokers are opening up the KZN flood relief raffle, giving you the chance to win one of 5 incredible get-a-ways. Spanning from Plettenberg Bay all the way to the Kruger National Park.

Your entry into the raffle helps the KZN community organisations work in the early, medium and long term recovery phases, following the emergency relief effort. Your donation is vital to the community’s recovery.

Winners of the KZN flood relief raffle will be contacted at the details provided at the ticket purchase stage and receive a voucher against which to redeem the prize.

No cancellation or refunds are available on this raffle.
